Annotation:
The article gives brief information on visitations, new meetings, and changes in the num- ber of certain species of birds in Western Transbaikal for 2016–2017. We present data on long-legged buzzards’ visitation to the valley of Dzhida River, nesting of grey starlings in the Vitim plateau, new information on distribution and abundance dynamics of Daurian partridge, crested honey buzzard, gyrfalcon, hooded crane, Mongolian short-toed and sa- lined larks and some other species in Western Transbaikal.
