Annotation:
To date, the only non-generalized group of the Macroheterocera clade in Western Transbaikal is the largest complex of the noctuoid Lepidoptera families — Erebidae, Nolidae, Noctuidae (Lepidoptera, Noctuoidea). Based on more than sixty years of research, we have compiled a species list of Erebidae, Nolidae, and Noctuidae families of the northern part of Selenga Midlands. This is the largest group of Lepidoptera in terms of species composition: about 350 species are now known in the territory of Buryatia. At present, there are 257 Noctuoidea species from Erebidae, Nolidae, and Noctuidae families in the northern part of Selenga Midlands, and it is about 69% of the total list of species known in Buryatia. The article is an initial stage in the synthesis of information on Noctuoidea in Western Transbaikal.
