The article provides an integrated assessment of erosion, accumulation and sediment transport in the Selenga River Delta based on the analysis of hypsometric terrain models of the subaerial surface. An integrated approach to the study of deltafication under the conditions of a regulated receiving water body using digital processing of geographic data made it possible to estimate the volumes of alluvium involved in erosion-accumulative activity. Relatively stable reaches of channels and spaces between distributary channels were revealed in comparison with the reaches subject to active channel deformations. We have presented the calculated indicators of erosion-accumulative activity of anabranches alongside the observed values of sediment runoff, as well as the characteristics of coastal erosion rates, displacements of bifurcation nodes, and planned channel deformations as a whole. The article also reveals the factors of channel network reorganization and the role of sediment sources for deltafication.
