Annotation:
Based on the analysis of literary data and our own research we present data on the expansion of ranges to the east for 14 bird species in Irkutsk Oblast: the stock dove, the red-backed shrike, the rosy starling, the Eurasian jackdaw, the hooded crow, the common grasshopper warbler, the booted warbler, the garden warbler, the European pied flycatcher, the whinchat, the European greenfinch, the european Goldfinch, the grey-headed woodpecker, the common linnet. Significant changes in bird ranges have been noted in recent years, which may be associated with both natural causes, mainly the climate change, and human economic activity.
