The Menzbier Ornithological Society is a scientific organization that brings together experts in the field of ornithology. These specialists are involved in studying, conserving, and responsibly using wild birds, as well as sharing ornithological knowledge. Since 1992 The Menzbier Ornithological Society has been the successor of the All-Union Ornithological Society, which was formed on February 19, 1983. The article highlights the significant milestones in the development of the Menzbier Ornithological Society during different time periods: 1983–1991, 1992–2010, 2011–2018, and 2019–2023. It also recognizes the individuals who have made the most significant scientific contributions and creative efforts to establish, develop, preserve, and modernize the society. Currently, the Menzbier Ornithological Society has regional branches in various parts of the country. It organizes ornithological conferences at different levels and works towards restoring, expanding, and establishing connections with neighboring countries.
