SOCIAL MOOD OF MONOTOWNS RESIDENTS IN THE REPUBLIC OF KHAKASSIA AS ASSESSED BY ITS INHABITANTS

The article addresses the issue of social well-being among residents of monotowns in the Republic of Khakassia. The Republic of Khakassia is a home to six monotowns, and the study is aimed to identify the key factors, trends, and potential solutions for each single- industry in the region. The article presents statistical data that accurately portrays the current state of monotowns in the republic. The author’s research is drawn upon official statistics, reports, and a comprehensive survey of 1000 monotown residents conducted in 2021 (n=1000).
