Annotation:
The article discusses the basic approaches to studying subjective well-being in Russian and foreign science. The study is based on such theoretical methods as descriptive analysis and comparative analysis, as well as on the information published on the official websites of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). We have identified the current trends in studying the phenomenon of subjective well-being, its main elements and factors of formation. The analysis has shown that subjective well-being is a complex, multifaceted concept and is manifested at macro, meso and micro levels.
