Annotation:
The article deals with the disclosure of the role of the functional-semantic types of speech as speech Russian language school course concepts in the formation of students communicative competence. It is proved, that the functional meaning and the structure inherent in the types of speech (description, narration, reasoning), provide an opportunity to use them as landmarks in different kinds of speech activity: listening comprehension and reading-anticipate the content and structure of the text, “include”, work of Psychophysiological mechanisms of speech perception; in speaking and writing-form the basis of the content and structure of the future. Fleshed out communication skills for different phases of listening, reading, speaking and writing related to functional-semantic types of speech. Presents communicative speech tasks, which can be used for different phases of speech activities (orientation, planning, implementation and monitoring) in the formation of communicative competence.
