LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD IN THE RUSSIAN AND CHINESE PROVERBS AND SAYINGS

The article is devoted to the study of folk specifics in different linguistic pictures of the world. In the article examples of interpretation some Proverbs and sayings on the materials of Russian and Chinese languages are given. The article focuses on the similarities and differences in ways of thinking, actions, attitudes to life, world, work, caused by the semantics of sayings and proverbs. It is argued that each language defines its own way of perceiving the world and conceptualizing it. In the paroemias of different languages the difference is expressed not only in content, but at the same time in shade or nuance of thought. The study and comparison the linguistic pictures of the world in different people’s minds allows us to understand other nations, their traditions, hab- its, cultures, spiritual world with the help of sayings and proverbs.
