RELIGIOUS ORTHODOX VOCABULARY IN RUSSIAN LINGUISTICS

The article reviews the experience of description of religious vocabu- lary in Russian linguistics, describes different approaches to studying religious language. The authors give brief description of thematic groups, lexical-semantic associations and the principles of classifica- tion of vocabulary associated with religious sphere. The authors exam- ine the problems connected with heterogeneity and ambiguity of the “religious” notion, offers and proves capacious and convenient for de- scription “Orthodox vocabulary” term.
