Annotation:
The article reviews the process of dialogue between all participants in the process of artistic communication: the author, the character and the reader. Based on the study of receptive communicative model "author - character - reader", we define features of communication and the rela- tionship between the author and the reader, and the specific embodi- ment of the reader’s image in Mikhail Lermontov's novel «A Hero of Our Time».
