Annotation:
The article is devoted to the analysis of free indirect discourse (FID) in interaction with the methods of compositional-graphic marking in the texts of modern prose. On the works by V. Degtev and V. Pelevin peculiarities of speech of the implementation of FID as non- traditional forms of storytelling are revealed. In creating the structure of FID such egocentric elements, such as introductory words, the rating of the speaker are determined. In the analysis of the works that there is the use of such techniques of FID as quotation, "play for polyphony voices", a non-native-direct speech are observed. In addition, the position of the speaker as a subject of consciousness is presented in the SKD. Free indirect discourse is presented in modern prose through the interaction of verbal and graphic techniques (italics, large and small fonts), which leads to compositional and graphic changes, to strengthen the subjectivity of narrative text.
