VOWELS OF THE FIRST SYLLABLE AND CONSONANTS IN THE FIRST CYRILLIC MONUMENTS IN THE BURYAT LANGUAGE

The article is devoted to the description of two written language memorials in the Buryat language, written in Cyrillic in the late 19th and early 20th centuries: identifying the dialect affiliation of texts, describing consonants and short vowels in the text in comparison with graphemes in Pragmolgian forms with the use of field data on the modern Tunkin dialect of the Buryat language. The annotated paper details the combinatorial and positional processes in the dialects of the Buryat language that took place at the stage under consideration, the reasons for their appearance, the evolution of the Buryat vowels and consonants in the aspect of the distribution of sounds in the structure of the word is specified.
The article will consider the language material of the two Cyrillic texts "Teaching about the holy Christian faith. In the dialect of the North Baikal Buryats "(1877) and" The Book for Reading in the Buryat School "(1903), published at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
