The article defines the current trends in juvenile delinquency in the Russian Federation and Mongolia. Despite a certain decrease in the level of juvenile delinquency in the border states, there are a number of trends that cause concern of law enforcement agencies and the public. For a rather-legal analysis of the crime state in Russia and Mongolia, we used both general scientific and special methods. As a result of the analysis of data on juvenile crime in neigh- boring states, comparison of law enforcement activity and the established practice in applying the law, as well as the scientific legal literature, we have revealed a commonality in a number of positive and negative trends in juvenile delinquency in these countries. Summing up, it should be noted that a rather-legal analysis of juvenile delinquency in the Russian Federation and Mongolia will make it possible to see the potential for mutual use of the positive experience of neighboring states.
