LEGAL SYSTEM AND THE CONSTITUTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA

The article discusses the theoretical problems that arise when analyzing the role of the Constitution of the Republic of Buryatia in its system of law. We consider the issues related to the concept “regional legal system”, the nature of the republican constitution and its role in the legal system of the country, as well as the problems of correlation between federal and regional legal regulation. Particular attention is paid to the enforcement potential of the provisions of regional fundamental laws (as in the case of the Constitution of the Republic of Buryatia). The article also analyzes the processes of state building in the Republic of Buryatia and the practice of law enforcement, assesses the prospects for their further development.
