PSYCHOLOGICAL AND TACTICAL TECHNIQUES FOR EXECUTION OF SEARCH

The article discusses some psychological and tactical techniques used by an investigator for execution of search in the process of investigating crimes. The criminal procedure legislation does not clearly reflect the specifics and content of this investigative measure. In practice, investigators have a number of difficulties that influences the effectiveness and productivity of the investigative activities. Attention is drawn to the peculiarities of the behavior of operating officers and persons being searched in the context of solving the problem of taking, investigating, evaluating and using evidence, i. e. direct correlation of their results with the possibility of obtaining evidentiary information on the case. The article uses materials of particular investigative activities in which we participated. We believe that the direct connection between the methods of scientific analysis of criminal procedural investigative activities, conclusions and practical experience is a reliable basis for the development of scientifically and practically substantiated psychological and tactical techniques for performance of investigative activities aimed at complete and objective investigation of a criminal case.
