ON COMPARATIVE LEGAL RESEARCH OF THE SYSTEMS OF LAW IN RUSSIA AND CHINA (METHODOLOGICAL ISSUES)

The article is devoted to the methodological difficulties arising when studying modern legal systems. We critically evaluated some features of the Chinese legal system common in European scholarship and attempted to reveal the peculiarities of functioning law in China. A comparison of European and Asian law can not only significantly expand the empirical base of research, but also offer new approaches to solving the key problems of the general theory of law.
