The article presents the first experience of minimally invasive treatment for complicated cholelithiasis. One of its complications is choledocholithiasis. 8 patients with choledo- cholithiasis underwent partial papillosphincterotomy and balloon dilatation of papillae. The average duration of treatment for large choledocholithiasis according to this tech- nique was 5.6 ± 2.4 days. All patients had associated diseases. In the early postoperative period there was no complications. The combined technique of partial papillosphincte- rotomy and balloon dilatation is an effective minimally invasive treatment for large cho- ledocholithiasis. To assess the risk of complications, it is necessary to analyze the re- sults of this technique in greater number of patients.
