PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC EFFICIENCY OF «CORNEREGEL» IN COMPLEX TREATMENT OF VIRAL KERATITIS

The article presents a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of various prepara- tions («Corneregel», «Solcoseryl», «Taufon») in treatment of viral keratitis. Complex treatment of patients also include antibiotics, antiviral and anti-inflammatory drugs. The criterion for clinical effectiveness of the treatment is disappearance of the corneal ede- ma, improvement of sight, epithelization. Also we take into account other criteria: dura- tion of the corneal syndrome, conjunctival injection. We consider «Corneregel» to be the most effective preparation as its application in complex treatment in a short period of time stops clinical symptoms of the disease and reduces the frequency of viral kerati- tis recurrences.
