Annotation:
The purpose of the article is to summarize the principles of phytotherapy of neurological diseases with sedative medicinal plants. Sedative medicinal plants are widely used in the treatment of nervous system disorders. Along with their sedative ef- fect, some of the medicinal plants demonstrated their potential in lowering BP, counter- ing peroxidation and improving cerebral circulation. Correct medicinal plant choice can balance functions of the nervous system, reduce stress and achieve the neuroprotective effect.
