The purpose of the work was to study the efficacy and safety of the Prevenar 13 vaccine in the prevention of acute respiratory infections in children. The study included 105 children aged 4.3 ± 2.8 years. Vaccines showed a decrease in the incidence of diseases associated with bacterial infections, since the frequency of ARIs before immunization with Prevenar- 13 was 9.2 ± 4.5 times a year, after it was carried out ― 2.5 ± 1.6 times / year, with p <0 , 0001. There was a decrease in the incidence of pneumonia by 6.2 times, otitis media ― by

2.8 times and tonsillitis by 9 times. The shortening of the periods of use of antibacterial

drugs after vaccination of Prevenar-13 from 8.66 before vaccination to 3.53 days a year af- ter vaccination was revealed. There was a decrease in the frequency of hospitalization from 2.9 per year before vaccination, to 1.25 cases per year after vaccination by Prevenar-13. The number of days out of work decreased from 12.9 days / year to 6.9 days after vac- cination. In the absolute number of children, post-vaccination reactions and complications were not observed. Based on the data presented, it can be concluded that Prevenar-13 vac- cination is effective in preventing ARI in children.
