Annotation:
The relevance of the article is associated with an increase in the incidence of pneumonia in young children, due to viral infections. The article introduces the clinical options for communi- ty-acquired pneumonia in children. The relationship of the development of pneumonia in chil- dren with a respiratory infection is noted. Clinical signs of etiology and age of children with pneumonia are described. The minimization of diagnostics and the choice of alternative antibi- otic therapy are substantiated. Vaccination of children is recommended for prevention.
