The article presents an overview of the XV international scientific seminar «Cur- rent Issues of Cooperation between Russia, China and Mongolia in the Modern world: His- tory, Economics, Culture, Ecology» as of the successful examples of close academic coop- eration between scientific and educational institutions of Russia, Mongolia and China. The main topics and sections of the seminar allowed scientists from the three countries to focus their attention on a wide range of issues in the field of historical interaction, current state and future development of economic, social, and cultural ties in the cross-border region of Russia, Mongolia and China.
