Annotation:
The article reviews the history of description and the common issues crucial for dis- course analysis, particular discourse in educational interaction. We consider and sum- marize various approaches to discourse research, reveal understanding of discourse in case study and its main components. Discourse is analyzed in terms of a recipient and a sender as correlation between the meanings of language units and wide extralinguis- tic context, which involves referential-objective and communicative situation, back- ground and common knowledge. The given interpretation of discourse is relevant for modelling discourse/activity in the learning situation: all the components of extralin- guistic context should be clear and unambiguous for participants of educational inte- raction, i.e. should be ensured correlation with referential-objective situation, commo- nality of presupposition and background knowledge.
