PREPARATION FOR BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN PHYSICAL CULTURE IN TERMS OF COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH

The article is devoted to modernization of higher education, characterized by changing edu- cational standards, new professional training requirements, and sharp reorientation of the evaluation of educational outcomes. Key competences conceptually designate the goals of modern education for graduates of different levels of education and profiles. At present, the society puts forward increased requirements for qualified employees of higher educational institutions. Primary goal of universities is preparation of highly skilled competent workers, who are competitive in the labor market and proficient in various fields of activity, ready for self-perfection and professional growth. Training bachelors physical culture at university, in our opinion, should meet the current demands of employers. Continuous improvement of higher education programs results in changing set of competences of future qualified employ- ees of appropriate levels and profiles.
