Annotation:
The article presents the results of phytochemical study of Heteropappus altaicus. Estab- lished in underground and aboveground organs of plants Heteropappus altaicus are alka- loids, flavonoids, condensed tannins, ascorbic acid, saponins and coumarins. It is revealed that the aerial part of the plants the content of biologically active substances is higher than in the underground part.

The levels of accumulation of trace elements in different parts of the Heteropappus altaicus are different. Heteropappus altaicus more contains are vital for the human body elements as Mn, Zn, Cu. For plants, a decrease in the concentration of zinc from underground to con- tinue vegetative to reproductive organs. The concentration of manganese and copper rises from underground to reduced vegetative and reproductive organs.
The results of this work indicate the need for further research of Heteropappus altaicus at identifying other groups of biologically active substances, peculiarities of their accumula- tion in dependence on ecological and geographical factors.
Keywords:
Heteropappus altaicus, biologically active substances, trace elements composition.
