MICROBIAL DIVERSITY IN ALKALINE SALT LAKES OF PRIONONYA (TRANSBAIKAL REGION) // BSU bulletin. Biology, geography. - 2017. №3. . - С. 83-86.
Title:
MICROBIAL DIVERSITY IN ALKALINE SALT LAKES OF PRIONONYA (TRANSBAIKAL REGION)

UDK: 551.481.1
Annotation:
The results of physico-chemical and microbiological researches of Priononye’s mineral lakes present in article. The lakes water is characterized by pH value to 10,1 and minerali- zation value to 470 g/l. The environment and quantity of organic matter bacteria- destructors in the water and bottom sediments were studied. It is established that the domi- nant phylums in the microbial community of the studied lakes are Proteobacteria (30-52%), Firmicutes (5-20%), Bacteroidetes (11-24%), with differences at the level of classes and genera. In the microbial community of the highly mineralized Lake Borzinskое, a signifi- cant proportion of Аrchebacteria of the Euryarchaeota class (33%) was detected.
Keywords:
alkaline saltlakes, physico-chemical characteristic, microbial diversity.
