Annotation:
The current state of socio-economic development of the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia is considered. It was noted that the republic is characterized by the highest rates of economic development in a number of parameters, provided by the presence of a rich natural resource potential. The potential possibilities of the conjugated development of the Republic of Sakha-Yakutia and the coastal regions of the Far East — Khabarovsk and Primorsky territories are shown The increasing role of interregional relations in the spatial development of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the Far Eastern Federal District is shown, primarily in the construction of transport infrastructure, the development of fuel and energy resources, as well as in the implementation of priority investment projects. The features of foreign economic activity in the republic are given. The role of the Northern Sea Route and the need for its active integration into the global transport system are analyzed. It was revealed that the use of the transit potential of this transport artery will contribute to the development of local points of spatial development of the East and North-East of Russia. It was noted that in order to ensure balanced and sustainable development of the territories under consideration, a transition to green growth based on the principles of a green economy is needed, which will require a long period of transformation and modernization, structural and technological changes in the entire economic complex of these territories.
