The article deals with Eurocentrism and the problem of ensuring national and re- gional security. The findings are based on the analysis of K. Marx’s works, including the fundamental work “Capital”, as well as individual selected works. We have given the examples of Eurocentrism in the works by Marx, revealed the causes of Marxist Eurocentrism. The article describes briefly the evolution of Eurocentrism. It is concluded that Eurocentrism and the concept of Marxism as its important part the significant had a significant impact on the world development starting from the end of the 15th century. We pay our atten- tion to the manifestations of modern Eurocentrism, including the division into developed and developing countries, the "core-periphery" model, as well as the manifestations of Eu- rocentrism in Russian education in the field of economic theory. In our view it is necessary to limit the further expansion of Eurocentrism (Euro-Atlantic priorities) today, when Eurocentrism is a challenge for the national and regional security of states. It is proposed to build a multipolar system of national and regional security, which will provide not for the rejection of European achievements, but for the Eurasian approach to ensuring it.
