Annotation:
This article describes the features of the development of tourism in the Republic of Bu- ryatia, related to ethnic and religious characteristics of the region. It was revealed that one of the main tourist attractions is the sacredness of sacred sites. The necessity in competent consistent work of government agencies and private businesses that will increase the re- gion's attractiveness to the tourist market, and thus will attract more capital for infra- structure development of the country.
