This article is devoted to the problems of money incomes of population differentiation in today's economy, which today is one of the most debated issues in contemporary so- ciety. Differences in income per person or wage per employee called income differen- tiation, or the differentiation of wages. In the Republic of Buryatia, as well as for Russia as a whole, there is a differentiation in the average monthly gross wages of employees of organizations of different sectors, so a person's income is dependent on the individu- al's professional preferences.
