NUMBERS INDICATING THE ENTWINEMENT OF MODERN UNIVERSAL CONCEPTS WITH THE PROTOTURKIC LEGENDARY HISTORY

The article, for the first time, introduces the following non-rhetorical question: “Do the 24 grandsons of Oguz Khan (12 from two wives) and the 12-animal (zodiacal) chronology with a 24-hour daily (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness)? " By ana- lyzing the facts from various sources, we tried to find the most acceptable and convincing positive answer to this question. To achieve this goal, we have studied the factual materials both in the diachronic and synchronous aspects, subjected them for analysis and synthesis, we also used the mixed methods inherent in modern scientific research. As a result, we come to the conclusion that the 12-animal (zodiac) chronology, 24 grandsons of Oguz Khan (12 from two wives) and 24-hour daily division (12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness) are historically intertwined through the numbers they contain. The primary source is the fact that 12 grandsons were born within the marriage of Oguz Khan, the legendary progenitor of the Turkmens and other Turkic peoples, with the heavenly maiden, and then other 12 grand- sons in the relationships with his earthly wife.
