Annotation:
The urgency of the study is due to the modern requirements for high-tech professional activities, characterized primarily by the use of complex information technologies. The article is devoted to the problem of development of ICT competence of students, which largely depends on the level of development of the informational educational environment of the university. The problem of formation the ICT competence of future engineers in the field of preparation "Land management and cadasters" is considered. The definition and structure of the allocated ICT competence is given. The levels of the ICT competence formation and their requirements are submitted. The essential role of the ICT competence is emphasized in the implementation of the competence approach in the training of future engineers in the educational environment of the university. The model of formation the ICT competence of future engineers in the Yakut State Agricultural Academy is described taking into account regional features. The principle of choosing the model is explained, the criteria are characterized, the emphasis is placed on the appropriateness of observing the stages of formation and application of practice-oriented forms and methods of pedagogical activity. The constituent blocks of the model for the formation of ICT competence of future engineers are singled out and described. The forms are proposed for assessment the level of professional ICT competence. The authors consider the results of experimental work on the proposed model. In conclusion, the advantages and efficiency of the ICT use are underlined.
