SOME SOCIO-ONTOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF THE COGNITIVE-EVOLUTIONARY APPROACH

The article considers a number of promising directions of the cognitive-evolutionary mod- els and metaphors application in social and philosophical knowledge, we have proposed a cybernetic model of social ontology and the related heuristic stratification of cognitive evolution. The vectors of their further detailed elaboration in the study of social and philo- sophical problems are indicated. We present the heuristic stratification elements of cogni- tive evolution as a system of interconnected categories. The metaphor of a structural mod- el of computational process similar to ontological assumptions of “digital philosophy” (a comparison of the most important phenomena of cognitive evolution with the elements of computer systems architecture) is used as a framework of this system. Such an approach can be also applied to investigation of the internal structure of these phenomena. Socio- ontological categories are deduced as a reflection of the moments of previous cognitive evolution. Attention is also drawn to the possible negative consequences of hypostatizing these categories.
