PROFESSOR I. I. OSINSKY’S SCIENTIFIC SCHOOL: DECADES OF CREATIVITY AND SUCCESS

The article discusses some results of the activity of the scientific school estab- lished by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor I. I. Osinsky, who celebrates his 90th anniver- sary in 2023. It is known that one of the most important features of a scientific school is a charismatic leader who is able to organize the work of students and help them realize their creative potential. This thesis is successfully confirmed by more than 40 years of ex- perience of I. I. Osinsky’s scientific school. Due to a wide range of research, a significant number of applicants, who successfully defended their dissertations, as well as high publi- cation activity, the school of Professor I. I. Osinsky inevitably occupy a leading position in the scientific ranking. The scientist and his applicants focus on current social problems of the regions of Siberia, the Far East, and states neighboring Russia. Studies on social structure and social well-being of individual groups of the population, problems of the in- telligentsia as a special social group, discussion of social migration and global changes in society caused by the rapid introduction of scientific knowledge and new technologies into its life is not a complete list of research undertaken by Professor I. I. Osinsky’s applicants.
