Annotation:
A contemporary model of higher education requires competency-based approach, which will al- low students to apply their knowledge and interact effectively in cross-cultural society. In the context of domestic reforms ethnocultural competence becomes particular important, this pro- vide successful intercultural interaction, cultural literacy and ethnic tolerance. We have analyzed the efficiency of pedagogical support for nonresident students in view of the ethnic factor. The model developed by us includes the following components: target, methodological, informative, technological and productive. We consider the levels of students’ development — productive, permissible and crucial taking into account the ethnic factor.
Pedagogical support of nonresident students is a system of activities of all subjects of pedagogi- cal process, as well as contribution to adaptation of nonresident students and formation of their subjectness.
