ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE SCHOOL MUSEUM AT UAKIT SECONDARY SCHOOL OF BAUNTOVSKY EVENKI DISTRICT OF THE REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA

The article deals with the establishment and development of the school museum at Uakit secondary school of Bauntovsky Evenki district of the Republic of Buryatia. The study is based on the archival material of the administration and the military commissariat of Bauntovsky Evenki district. We have studied the history of Uakit settlement and its contribution to the victory of the Soviet Union over Nazi Germany, traced the entire pro-cess of setting up the museum and its further development. It has been concluded that as long as there is a school, the village will live, and as long as there is a museum in the school, the history of the village will live.
