Annotation:
A review of modern research in the field of the influence of metal-containing finely dispersed components on the performance characteristics of lubricants is carried out. The analysis of the literature on the classification, composition and properties of met- al-containing additives is carried out, and the mechanism of interaction of dispersed com- ponents is also shown. Studies have shown that the concentration and distribution of these components can be controlled by antiwear, antioxidant, antifriction and other properties of lubricants.
