LOW-FREQUENCY VISCOELASTIC RELAXATION IN POLYMER LIQUIDS

Annotation:
In liquids, along with a high-frequency (1010 Hz) relaxation process, there is a low-frequency viscoelastic relaxation (104–105 Hz), which is determined by the collective
relaxation in amorphous polymers, which is observed above their glass transition tempera- ture and is explained by the disintegration of physical microvolume nodes — associates of the molecular network. According to the evaluation of the activation energy for polyeth- ylsiloxane polymer liquids, low-frequency viscoelastic relaxation in liquids refers to low- activation processes.
