The Department of Ecology and Nature Management was established on August 20, 2015 at the Chemical Faculty of the University. The opening of the department is caused by the need to train personnel in priority areas of ecology and nature management in conditions of severe environmental restrictions in the region, high requirements for environmental protection, implementation of legislative measures in accordance with the Law on Baikal, knowledge of modern environmentally safe technologies.
