Annotation:
The analysis of multicomponent preparation formulae used in the Mongolian tradition for the treatment and prevention of diseases is given in the work. It has been established that basic components are the mainstay of the complex formulae and according to the case other com- ponents are added. Particularly, with the use of the system approach suggested by L. Ber- talanffy and recommendations by Yu. A. Urmantsev, D. Badarch et al., N. V. Sadovsky, A. M. Ugolev, B. Dagvatseren there have been revealed general patterns in the formula com- position of multicomponent remedies used in the Mongolian traditional medicine. For the first time the principles of the complex formula composition of medicines were revealed ap- plying this line of reasoning. Such systemic hierarchical composition of the formula results to the creation of a systemic remedy providing the holistic effect on the human body. Nowa- days the established patterns may serve as a base for elaboration of a theory concerning the composition of complex medicines.
