Annotation:
The article presents a comparative analysis of the cognitive sphere (in particular, the level of intelligence) of cannabis drug users depending on the length of drug usage: up to 5 years, from 5 to 10 years, more than 10 years. We have undertaken a study of the cognitive functions of people who do not use drugs. Drug users and the control group have secondary vocational education. For diagnosing intellectual abilities we have used a short preliminary test. The results obtained have shown the changes in the general level of intel- ligence depending on the length of drug usage. The findings can be used in the field of practical narcology and psychiatry.
