The article analyzes the features of emotional sphere in men with drug addictions, and establishes the correlation between emotional disorders and education status of the sub- jects. Based on literature review, we can assume that emotional disorders are characteristic of all types of drug addiction. It is important to emphasize that the development of drug addiction and the effectiveness of it further treatment are closely related to such socio-psy- chological indicators as having a family, a high level of education, and skilled work. The research is aimed at establishing the correlation between emotional disorders and education status in men with drug addiction by conducting a comparative analysis of three groups of subjects at the premises of the autonomous public health care institution "Republican Nar- cological Dispensary" under the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Buryatia. We have used the following methods: clinical interview (patient intake), observation, Hospital Anx- iety and Depression Scale (HADS). The study concluded that patients with secondary (in- complete secondary) and secondary vocational education are more prone to emotional dis- orders (anxiety and depression) compared to patients with higher education.
