PERSONAL AND SOCIAL PROFILE OF MEN OF WORKING AGE WITH HARMFUL USE OF CANNABINOIDS

The article describes a personal and social profile of men of working age (sample of men aged 20–50 years) with harmful use of cannabinoids (ICD-10 F12.1), namely ma- rijuanna, which grows everywhere in the Republic of Buryatia. Constant control by police officers, annual massive work to destroy fields with wild hemp, and measures to prevent drug trafficking carried out by various departments contribute to containment of drug addiction in the republic, but crimes related to the procurement and distribution of drugs remain relevant up to now. To compile a personal and social profile of men of working age with harmful use of cannabinoids (marijuanna) we have used such methods as conversation and observation, as well as “The Level of Rehabilitation Potential” and “Five-Factor Personality Questionnaire”. The study involved 60 men aged from 24 to 38 years registered with Republican Narcological Dispensary under the Ministry of Health of Buryatia. Identifying personality traits of men with harmful use of cannabinoids is im- portant for further analysis and development of preventive measures for this group of drug users.
