The article is devoted to the study of the image of the Buryat state University in the public opinion of the inhabitants of the Republic of Buryatia. The authors identify the positive and negative characteristics of the image of the Buryat state University on the basis of extensive empirical data obtained through sociological research. The authors reveal the main educational strategies of the inhabitants of the Republic of Buryatia and identify the important from the point of view of the population characteristics of the image of the Buryat state University.
