FEATURES OF PREVENTION OF BAD HABITS AMONG STUDENTS OF A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY: DIAGNOSTIC STUDY

The article is devoted to the problem of the prevention of bad habits associated with alco- hol use among young people. The goal is to develop ways of preserving natural sobriety in the youth environment, and in case of its loss - restoration. To achieve this goal, the author approaches through the special course «Sobriology» based on the psychological- pedagogical method of G.A. Shichko, where it is planned to fill out 30 diaries of self- examination before bedtime. The results of preventive measures show that few manage to complete the course. According to the author, the passage of the full course allows: firstly, to increase the number of people leading a sober lifestyle; secondly, to reduce the level of adolescent alcoholism; thirdly, it is an example of a sober, healthy lifestyle for the younger generation, close environment and society as a whole. The author believes that full-time students lead a sober, healthy lifestyle and, if necessary, can become methodologists for getting rid of alcohol addiction.
