The conference is dedicated to the outstanding Soviet, Russian and Buryat scientist-educator of world renown, who made an invaluable contribution to the theory and practice of labour training and Polytechnic education, doctor of pedagogical Sciences, Professor, academician RAO P.R. Atutova. He has achieved outstanding results in the field of didactics and metho- dology of pedagogical science. Academician P. R. Atutova created the concept of the func- tional nature of Polytechnical knowledge, had a huge impact on the theory and practice of Polytechnic education in recent decades and its current status.His name is associated with preparation of an entire galaxy of scientists of the teachers of Buryatia, who are representa- tives of the scientific school of academician P. R. Atutov.
