Annotation:
Results of the content analysis of the concept "social competence" are presented in ar- ticle. The problem of formation of social competence of future programmers is formu- lated. Social competence is defined as the dynamic integrated characteristics of the qualities of the personality allowing to carry out harmoniously social roles and to devel- op at interaction in society and the professional environment.
