Annotation:
In the publication the standard and legal base for distribution of Russian in China is defined. The statistics of distribution of Russian in the Chinese higher education institutions is carried out. It is claimed that increase in interest in studying of Russian is promoted by the translation into Chinese of works of classical and modern Russian literature. Further points of growth of Russian in China are defined.
