HISTORY OF LEGAL REGULATION OF THE WORK OF MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES

In this article, the author aims to consider the history and current state of de- velopment of legislation on municipal service. The article substantiates the relevance of studying the history of the development of legislation on municipal service, presents an analysis of the main provisions of various regulatory legal acts and municipal service. Currently, many regions and municipalities of Russia have adopted regulatory legal acts in the field of municipal service development, work is underway to create new organizational and economic mechanisms for municipal service. The study of the histo- ry of the development of legislation on municipal service makes it possible to identify the main ways of formation of municipal service, as well as determining processes in this area. The analysis of various sources devoted to the history of the formation of the municipal service allows us to note that in each period of time changes in the municipal service were noted through the publication of regulatory legal acts. The study of the legislation on municipal service of various periods allows us to determine the main specific features of the development of municipal service in a particular period of time.
